The Petzl Roc Trip will be setting up camp in Zillertal from 23 - 27 July 2008. Not
only will some of the most famous and most able climbers being abseiling into
Mayrhofen for the event, they’re also expected to stick around for a while. The four
days will embrace a variety of shows and competitions, directly under the
overlooking mountains. There will also be related events including a film festival,
talks, a photography competition, parties and an exhibition. ‘In’ people will
compare notes with other ‘in’ people. So it’ll be tons of techy talk. But also plenty
of recreational climbers, rubbing shoulders with the high-fliers of the mountains,
and simply savouring the atmosphere.
