			<title>Heavenly beautiful and devilishly steep</title>
			<link>http://www.press-service.info/montafon-en/article/texts_winter/19</link>
<description>The Montafon, with the Silvretta Montafon as the biggest ski area in Vorarlberg, is also right up there in terms of sport. Those who take part in the Nova Exclusive have the dream pistes all to themselves in the early morning, after which they can look forward to culinary Montafon specialities. Outdoor and steep slope experts find their happiness with the Black Scorpions. Not a rock band, but seven fascinating, high-alpine descents. Also famous and notorious is the Diabolo piste on the Golm; with gradients of up to 70 percent, it is one of the steepest slopes in Austria and the venue for a spectacular ski tour race.</description>

<title>Long and spectacular – the most beautiful piste experiences in the Montafon</title>
			<link>http://www.press-service.info/montafon-en/article/texts_winter/20</link>
<description>The Montafon – named “Improver of the Year” by the ADAC SkiGuide 2012 and Top Ten
ski area in Austria – waits to be conquered by piste fans in the upcoming winter season with new, spectacular ski experiences as well as tried and tested classics. One highlight is the Montafon Totale, a crisscrossing of the entire Montafon on skis. It was made possible by linking the two ski areas of Hochjoch and Nova with the new cableways of the Grasjoch and Hochalpila last winter. Classics such as the HochjochTotale, with a distance of
12 kilometres and 1,700 vertical metres the longest and most beautiful valley descent in Vorarlberg, or the new 350-metre-long cross-route Golm-X draw fans of prepared pistes and wild jumps to the valley in western Austria. The starting shot for the winter season falls at the beginning of December in Schruns with a sporty and musical mega-event: From
6 to 8 December, the world’s elite measured itself in the FIS World Cup in snowboard cross, after which Culcha Candela rocked the stage in the Montafon.
