Friedrichshafen, 15 July 2010. SportScheck, Germany's leading multichannel
sports specialist has clearly surpassed its own targets: In the
past financial year (March 2009 - February 2010), revenues increased by
5.5 percent to Euro 323 million. The year before, sales had grown by
3.3 percent. The contribution to overall sales by the outlets, which
meanwhile number 15, was remarkably high. Retail outlets recorded a
7.0 percent increase, whereas distance sales, which include e-commerce
and mail order business, grew by 4.0 percent. The online division of the
subsidiary of Otto Group achieved its third consecutive double-digit
increase, with business growth of about 23 percent. According to Stefan
Herzog, CEO of SportScheck, at the Outdoor 2010 in Friedrichshafen:

over market leadership. And we are convinced that we have found the
