The family-owned company TOGU®, which has been producing in Prien am Chiemsee since its foundation in 1956, stands for high-quality sports equipment for training coordinative skills. In particular, the ability to balance must be trained intensively during rehabilitation. Exactly for these purposes, TOGU® has introduced the MD product range of class 1 medical products, which will be exhibited in the course of this year's trade fairs "therapie Leipzig" in early May and "MEDICA" in mid-November.
In the European Union, the specifications of the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) are binding for equipment used in the treatment and therapy of patients. TOGU® has been offering a versatile and high-quality product range for sensorimotor and deep muscular training for many years. These products have been developed in cooperation with experts from the fields of therapy, competitive sports and medicine, and which are also ideally suited for use in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. In order to ensure that these healthpromoting training products can continue to be available for professional purposes, TOGU® has adapted a large number of its products to meet the requirements of the MDR and has thus introduced a range of Class 1 medical products. For private use, the non-medical versions of the products are also ideal training partners.
The MD Balanza® Ballstep® - the perfect introduction to sensomotoric training
Our sensomotoric system - the interaction between muscles and nerves - is essential for a healthy and active life. If the coordinative abilities become limited, whether through increasing age or an accident, it is important to improve them through regular sensorimotor training. The Balanza® Ballstep® is the ideal introduction to this. The wooden board on four highly resilient, air-filled balls brings the body additionally out of balance during training and thus causes compensatory movements that train the deep-seated muscles and the sensomotoric system.
MD Redondo® Ball - the soft Pilates ball for more grip
The Redondo® Ball is the ideal Pilates ball thanks to its non-slip surface and high load capacity. It is perfect for abdominal muscle, pelvic floor, back and neck training. MD Jumper® Pro - the versatile TOGU® classic with fun guarantee
Even as a medical product the MD Jumper® Pro is due its trampoline effect a training and therapy device with fun guarantee and thus motivates. The classic among the TOGU® products shines especially through its versatility. The soft half ball can be used to train practically all muscle groups, including the deep lying ones. Whether you jump, balance, perform squats on it or train your abdomen and back while sitting or lying down - the dynamic surface improves balance and coordination at the same time. In addition, with the Jumper® Pro plate, the underside can also be used as a flat surface, so that a physiologically correct planting of the soles of the feet and a variety of other exercise variants are possible when standing.
