on the slopes. The new Natural Skiwax Stick is also a sustainable wax. Like all other natural
ski wax products from HOLMENKOL, it is suitable for all snow types and temperatures.
Today, HOLMENKOL has become an inseparable part of the sport of skiing. The foundation for
this was laid by company founder Dr Max Fischer, who developed the world's first ski wax in 1922.
The influence of his innovations on winter sports can still be felt to this day, and athletes worldwide
use the company's products to great results. The right ski wax can make a crucial difference, as it
ensures a perfect result on the slopes. At the same time, the topic of sustainability has long been
a constant companion of the company. Out of a sense of responsibility towards nature,

This season, HOLMENKOL has completely revamped the Natural Skiwax Stick. It now
has a new organic formula and its recyclable tube made of FSC-certified paper makes the

plastic-free Natural Skiwax Stick your everyday savour. Handily packed, it is
a practical companion for your day on the snow. The wax stick ensures
optimal running of the skis and is suitable for all snow types and temperatures.
Simply push the bottom of the stick up slightly with your finger, apply the wax
to the bottom, then work it in with the integrated felt – and on you go to the
slopes. Using the Natural Skiwax Stick also has another important benefit: it
protects the bottom of the skis, so that they last longer. Another practical
aspect is that the stick comes in a handy size and format, meaning that it fits
into any trouser pocket. The Natural Skiwax Stick from HOLMENKOL ensures
anyone can enjoy a day of winter sports to the full.
Certified organic: the ski waxes from HOLMENKOL
The ski waxes from HOLMENKOL are biodegradable and bear the organic label, making them
unique on the market. Environmental friendliness starts with the product packaging. The ingredients
of the products can biodegrade and return to nature by over 60 per cent in only 28 days. "We deliver
products for sport outdoors – and we bear responsibility for the outdoors," says Timo Fleischmann,
Business Director HOLMENKOL. The company wants to continue on this path and shape the
market with new innovations "made in Germany". "Sustainability is a part of everything we do,"
says Fleischmann. "We thus remain true to HOLMENKOL’s roots, as responsibility towards the
environment and our innovations have been part of our DNA since 1922." The company's waxes
are real all-rounders and can be used in any weather. They are also uncomplicated and quick to
use. And the best thing is: the sustainability of the products does not reduce the skiing performance. HOLMENKOL does not limit itself to the ingredients alone when it comes to its quest to protect the environment and takes its responsibility towards nature very seriously. The company aims to reduce waste and to keep the consumption of water and energy as low as possible. HOLMENKOL uses sustainable energy such as green electricity and even has its own photovoltaics system to cover its energy needs. Through these measures, HOLMENKOL contributes actively to
environmental protection and demonstrates its commitment to a sustainable future.
Future project: Infinity Performance
This innovative technology offers extremely high abrasion resistance and was developed over an
18-month period. The products, which were tested intensively by the in-house development
department and the HOLMENKOL World Cup racing team, have already been used at the very
highest level at the World Cup. This process ensures that the products meet HOLMENKOL's high
quality standards. Business Director Fleischmann emphasises: "I am convinced that with the newly
developed Infinity Performance series, HOLMENKOL is bringing products onto the market that
meet all needs at the highest level."
