25.03.2026SQlab and ION, both part of the Bike Division of Boards & More GmbH, combine ergonomic precision with progressive trail design in a limited edition. The 611 ERGOWAVE® Infinergy® active 2.1 ltd. ION saddle meets the 7OX 2.0 Pro ltd. ION grips, featuring a matching ION design, to bring together two key contact points between rider and bike into one coordinated setup. As with all SQlab products, this system is based on individual fit: the correct grip size and saddle width are selected according to hand size and sit bone distance. The result is an ergonomic connection to the bike that equally supports comfort, control and efficiency.
Two brands, one trail perspective
The Limited Edition unites the core strengths of both brands. SQlab’s focus on ergonomics and individual fit meets ION’s progressive trail DNA and distinctive design language. Inspired by the flowing lines of mountains and trails, each product features a unique color pattern, giving every piece a slightly different appearance and making each one a true one-off. This collaboration allows both brand identities to merge into shared products, combining technical performance with a clear trail-driven aesthetic.
611 ERGOWAVE® Infinergy® active 2.1 ltd. ION
Manufactured in Germany, the 611 ERGOWAVE® Infinergy® active 2.1 ltd. ION saddle is tuned for MTB and trail use, delivering an efficient and comfortable climbing position along with confident control on demanding trails. The foundation is SQlab’s saddle width concept, in which saddle width is selected based on the rider’s sit bone distance. This ensures the sit bones rest securely on the intended support area, maintaining efficient power transfer while pedaling. The distinctive ERGOWAVE® shape stabilizes the seating position, while the central recess provides additional relief for sensitive areas. The concept is complemented by SQlab’s active technology, which allows controlled lateral movement of the saddle and follows the natural pelvic motion during pedaling. The padding made from Infinergy® material provides elastic support with high rebound. Even on long rides or challenging trail stages, the riding feel remains precise and comfortable.
7OX 2.0 Pro ltd. ION grips
The 7OX 2.0 Pro ltd. ION grips are designed for an active riding style on the trail, offering direct feedback and precise control in technical sections. Their ergonomic shape stabilizes hand position and supports high gripping forces, while the integrated Ergobar provides clear finger orientation and enables a consistent, reproducible grip position. Available in three sizes, the grips allow for an individual fit based on hand size. A soft, tacky rubber compound ensures secure grip in both dry and wet conditions, while delivering targeted damping where it is needed most in trail riding. Different texture zones optimize grip and damping across key contact points.
Design meets function
Visually, the Limited Edition picks up ION’s progressive design language: a marbled black, grey and white finish combined with a purple clamp. The color scheme visually connects both products into a coordinated MTB cockpit and highlights the shared signature of the two brands.
