As the new flagship model in the road segment, it has been consistently engineered for maximum efficiency, precise power transfer, and a clearly defined riding feel. The saddle will be available at retailers from June.

The 612R Ergowave® 2.0 Carbon is specifically designed for performance-oriented riders with a strong focus on output. Its core objectives are efficient power transfer and a stable riding position – even under high load. Rather than positioning itself as a comfort product, the saddle is conceived as a precise performance tool: direct, defined, and efficient.
Step saddle concept for optimal pressure distribution
Like all SQlab road saddles, the 612R 2.0 Carbon is based on the proven step saddle concept. The defined seating position creates a stable base for the sit bones while specifically relieving pressure on the sensitive perineal area. Combined with its short, performance-oriented shape and pronounced dip, the saddle enables a consistently efficient and aerodynamic riding position.
Flex-Wing technology for dynamic adaptation
A key feature of the 612R Ergowave® 2.0 Carbon is its Flex-Wing technology. It combines high longitudinal stiffness with targeted lateral flexibility, allowing the saddle to adapt dynamically to the pedaling cycle. The result is a precise, clearly defined riding feel while delivering up to 60% pressure relief in the perineal area. The width of the relief zone is proportionally matched to each saddle width, ensuring anatomically consistent pressure distribution across all available sizes.
Lightweight construction with carbon components
Carbon rails and a carbon shell form the structural foundation of the 612R 2.0 Carbon. Depending on the selected width, the saddle weighs approximately 125 grams – underlining its uncompromising performance focus.

The 612R Ergowave® 2.0 Carbon reveals its full potential when combined with the SQ-Bib Shorts ONE12 3.0. Featuring integrated PHNTM Technology, the shorts use a highly compact, deliberately minimal padding that preserves the saddle’s characteristics while clearly defining the interface between rider and bike.
