New partnership: Bike hotel Dips&Drops in Flachau and SQlab launch Europe’s first bike ergonomics test centre
Individual fitting, maximum performance and enhanced comfort on the bike
17.06.2026With a new partnership, “Dips&Drops – The First Bike And Ski Hub” in Flachau (Salzburg region) and ergonomics specialist SQlab are setting new benchmarks in bike tourism. As the first hotel in Europe, Dips&Drops now officially integrates SQlab’s scientifically based measurement and ergonomics concept directly into its bike hotel offering. The partnership was first presented at the Bike Hub Season Opening at the end of May.
Individual fitting for enhanced performance
At the core of the collaboration is SQlab’s fitting concept, offered directly to guests in the hotel’s in-house shop. Key parameters such as sit bone width, hand size and riding position are analysed to optimise the individual bike setup. Selected SQlab components – including saddles, grips and other ergonomic contact points – are available for on-site testing and adjustment. The goal is to combine comfort, performance and health in the best possible way. The result: increased riding comfort, improved power transfer and noticeable relief for the back, hands and sit area – whether on demanding rides or relaxed tours around the Flachau bike destination in the Salzburg region.
A new benchmark for bike hotels
With this partnership, SQlab is bringing its ergonomics expertise directly into a hotel concept for the first time, creating a new offering for ambitious bike enthusiasts together with Dips&Drops. “For us, biking is far more than just a holiday activity – it is a true passion and part of our long-standing DNA.
